A Romance Review.

What I enjoyed about the book was that there was something always happening. I picked it up and read, and before I knew  it, the pages were getting fewer and fewer. All in all, I would recommend this book to anyone who asked for a good romance.

There aren't enough words to accurately describe how I felt about this novel. I wept, laughed, and fell in love.

Take a journey back in time when Ronald Regan was President. Back to the year 1983 when our service men were peacekeeps in Lebanon. Relive the heartache of a quiet Sunday  when a nation learns of a terrorist attack that sent over two hundred marines and saliors to their death.  Experience the agony along with Rose and those around her throughout the aftermath of the tragedy. Sit beside her through the memorial service,  and weep with her as she buries her beloved Mark. Rejoice  with her as she finds strength, courage, and even love  in the midst of her sorrow.

The Crimson Rose is dedicated to the  servicemen killed in Lebanon, and their families, whose lives were forever changed on 18 October, 1983.
They did not make war. They were simply the victims of war in the honorable attempt to keep the peace, The gift of these men was of the ultimate quality and we know that it was of such value that it cannot be given again.  Used by permission of the Beirute Memorial on line.
